Woof Fest 2013 – Bungarribee Park

March 10, 2013

I have blogged about Bungarribee Park before, this time is no different. An excellent off-leash dog park, which we sadly haven’t visited in months now due to various reasons including having a newborn to look after.

Today however the park was for on-leash dogs. That is because the annual Woof Fest was held on March 10th for dogs and their owners or as one billboard put it “bring your humans” .

Unfortunately today was a scorcher. Our poor Levi was quickly soaked in sweat and looking at some of the dogs they were not doing so well either.

I did manage to snap a few pics. So here they are:

An outside view of the various stalls they had on the premises. Including dog products, dog services, dog and human food and even face painting for the kids (sorry Levi too young).

There were dogs of all shapes and sizes.

and even fake dogs

We left rather quickly due to the baby. But I think once he is a bit older it would be a great place to visit with your kids and dogs. Let’s hope the Autumn weather is milder next time.

How wonderful of you for sharing this. I recently did a post (If You Ever Loved A Dog) that touched on how important animals are to our lives. To see so many in one place with people proving that point is just a delight. Thank you for loving dogs.
