Looking at the Australian Census 2011

July 2, 2012

The bulk of the census 2011 for Australia is out and I was interested to find out what it reveals. In most part there is nothing that blew me away. I mostly looked at the suburb breakdown and the total of the Australian population breakdown. This second part was interesting because the 2006 and 2001 data was available for comparison. I did some quick graphs on a few of the topics.

If you want to see the individual suburb data check out HERE, then in the search bar type In the suburb/council/region or state you are interested in and see what it has to say. One example is Blacktown.

Here is an easy to follow bunch of stats for the whole of Australia for 2011. However if you want to see raw data and results from past censuses check out HERE.
